High Holy Day Food Drive

With your help, we will donate more than 300 bags of food to our Jackson Street Food Bank!

Each year for the High Holy Days, Temple Beth El hosts a drive to collect food fod The Jackson Street Food Bank.  The Food Bank is looking for the following items.  Note:please fill your bags ONLY with items from this list and return by Yom Kippur to the Rotunda:

  • Tuna
  • Pasta and sauce
  • Peanut butter (16 oz.)
  • Canned fruit and veggies
  • Dry cereal (low in sugar please)
  • Oatmeal
  • Canned soup (please, no Ramen)
  • Powdered milk and non-dairy beverages (in cartons)
  • Toiletries – toothpaste, deodorant, soap, shaving items

Please, no opened items, home-canned items, or items past expiration date!
