Welcome to Temple Beth El!

Temple Beth El is a warm and caring community devoted to creating a home for living Judaism where Jews of all backgrounds feel welcome. We are dedicated to helping you grow in your knowledge and observance of Judaism.  We are a place where learning becomes the key to unlocking the door to a lifetime of Jewish fulfillment and commitment.

You will find a congregation characterized by Torah (study), t’filah (worship) and tikkun olam (social justice). Through these we provide Jewish programs and activities that we hope will be meaningful and spiritually uplifting for people of all ages. We welcome you to become a member of our temple family.

> Temple Beth El hosts a large number of lifecycle events and would be honored to share yours with you.

> We strive as a community to become the center for Jewish study and education in our region.

> Engaging worship for Shabbat and holidays continue to be meaningful and fulfilling for our congregants.  Our congregation is engaged by worship in many ways, including tradition, innovation, music, participation, and teaching.

> The ancient Jewish value of commitment to tikkun olam, repairing our broken world, is another important element of congregational life.  As Jews, our job is to do whatever we can to help make this world a better place.  There are at least three different types of tikkun olam:  congregational tikkun olam, community tikkun olam, and global tikkun olam.
